The Blue Mountains

 

These are just a selection of landscapes that feature the place that I call home: the sandstone country of the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

I have lived and worked in the Upper Blue Mountains for the past 25 years.

It's a tough, robust landscape and yet it has a soft and subtle side.

Sclerophyll and sandstone scarps, fires and mist provide a mystery  that will take me a lifetime to depict.
