Desert Country

 

Here are a selection of pastels from my outback travels.

The expansiveness of the desert country holds a particular allure for me.

 It's tough and it's raw and it bares its bones and  yet it gets under your skin.

Be it The Flinders Ranges or the red earth around Alice Springs the desert is a place that allows my spirit to soar.
